Open: April - October.... Astir Beach is a 4 stars hotel, resting on the north coast of the wonderful island of Crete. Situated in Gouves, only 18 Km east of Heraklion city, by an extremely clean sandy coast and sea, it is an ideal beach resort for unforgettable vacations. The hotel is open from April until October.The hotel, built in 1987 and renovated in 2008, is composed of one main building and an annex with 164 modern and comfortable rooms. In the main building there is a spacious and comfortable restaurant, an indoor bar, a lounge with satellite TV, internet corner, billiard and a conference room. On the grounds of the hotel, in front of the beach, you can find a smartly constructed swimming pool together with a separate children’s paddling pool, as well as a pool bar, a snack bar and a mini market. Sport enthusiasts will also find a court for volleyball and badminton, a mini golf, and a table-tennis table.

Astir Beach is located, on the north coast of the wonderful Island of Crete, in the area of Gouves, only 18 km east of Heraklion city, and close to the bustling resorts of Hersonissos (10 km away) and Malia (16 km away). The hotel is separated from the beach only by a low traffic beach road.

The meals of the day are served in the main restaurant of the hotel:
- Breakfast: is served on buffet form, from 07:15 to 09:30. Late continental breakfast is available from 9:30 to 10:00 in the Lobby Bar. Early breakfast is available from 05:00 to 07:15 on request.
- Lunch: is served on buffet form, from 12:30 to 14:00.
- Dinner: is served from 19:00 to 21:30. The rich and daily varying self-service buffet gives you the opportunity to choose from various cold and hot dishes.
Snack Bar
The Snack Bar is open from 10:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m. Taste our Cretan traditional, Greek and international dishes or enjoy your drinks during the day. The Snack Bar is located next to the swimming pool and in front of the beach.
Lobby Bar
The lobby bar is open from 10:00 until 23:00.
Pool Bar
The Pool Bar is open from 18:00 until 02:00. Next to the pool with a view to the sea, you can enjoy music and drinking. Our barman will serve all kinds of drinks. Try our Cretan snaps “raki “ and the traditional Greek aperitif ouzo.

- Breakfast: served in the Main Restaurant from 07:15 to 09:30 on buffet form. Late continental breakfast is available from 9:30 to 10:00 in the Lobby Bar. Early breakfast is available from 05:00 to 07:15 on request.
- Morning Snack: served from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Lobby Bar.
- Lunch: served from 12:30 to 14:00 on buffet form including drinks (local soft drinks, local draught beer, white or red house wine, tap water) in the Main Restaurant.
- Afternoon Snack: served from 15:00 to 16:00 at the Lobby Bar.
- Coffee Time: Filter Coffee and Tea with biscuits and cake served from 16:00 to 17:00 in the lobby bar area.
- Dinner: served on buffet form including drinks (soft drinks, local draught beer, white or red house wine and tap water) from 19:00 to 21:30 in the Main Restaurant.
- Drinks: Local soft drinks in glass, draught beer, white or red house wine in glass, ouzo, raki, brandy, long drinks based on gin, vodka or rum, children cocktail and filter coffee or tea served from 10:00 to 23:00 at the main lobby bar.

A conference room for a maximum of 45 persons for small conferences, presentations or meetings is available.
WiFi/LAN Internet connection is available (on charge) in the rooms. In the public areas of the hotel, there is access to the internet Wi-Fi connection (free og charge). You may also use the PCs of the Internet Corner in the lobby area to connect to the Internet (on charge).
